Dennis was born curled up next to a radio
- the sound of it was the closest thing
to a maternal heart beat. At age 14 he launched his
broadcast career at a church fair - "broadcasting" over the P.A. system.
One well placed compliment from a bystander was all the encouragement he
needed.
A
broadcast voice, then voice actor for commercials and corporate
productions for conventions and meetings, Dennis has been practicing his
craft as long as the Beatles have been part of music history.
Dennis' voice can be heard on more than a
handful of radio and television stations sprinkled about the country.
As program host, he has been heard in Southern California, off and on,
for more than 30 years on stations in San Diego, Los Angeles and even in
Southern California's Orange County.
A student of early radio, Dennis
enjoys conjuring images with sound. "There's no more powerful
medium, when it connects emotionally with the listener."
A writer too, Dennis served a stint
with MaryTyler-Moore Productions in the mid seventies, as a staff comedy
writer. He has authored hundreds of TV and radio commercials.
